Rice Pudding with Strawberry Jam

Your milky richness, hearty rice-y-ness and strawberryliciousness are too good to be true.


  • 2 cups cooked long-grain white or basmati rice
  • 2 cups DairyPure® Whole milk or DairyPure® 1% Low Fat milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Raisins

Cook time: 30 minutes

Combine rice and DairyPure milk in a large pot. Over medium heat, bring to a boil, then quickly lower to a gentle simmer. Add maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir well. Simmer until liquid is almost completely absorbed, about 30 minutes, stirring frequently to avoid sticking or burning. Stir in raisins, if desired. Serve warm or chilled. Serving Suggestion: Layer rice pudding with strawberry jam.
